Waterloo Sunset is one of the most celebrated British pop songs of the 1960s. It's a beautifully tender snapshot of London life, filled with nostalgia and quiet romance.
Did you know?
Davies originally thought of setting the song in Liverpool as a tribute to The Beatles, but changed it to Waterloo in London because it felt more personal.
On harmonica, Waterloo Sunset is a wonderful piece to play thanks to its graceful, lyrical melody. It’s perfect for working on smooth phrasing and expressive playing, capturing the reflective, dreamy mood that makes the song so timeless.
