Hi, I’ve been attempting to learn a couple of Little Walter songs from the Blues Song Studies and have struggled with the breathing. I wondered if that information might be something that could be incorporated into the lesson at some point . Coincidentally I watched Jo Flisko’s Harmonica UK April 2024 seminar last night and he mentioned briefly that Little Walter and some of the other great players used breath dumps and nose dumps while playing. I would be interested in learning a bit more about this technique in a form of a video lesson that you might be amenable to do at some point. Thanks

It has been the most frustrating (so close but yet so far away from the end of the course) tune to learn to play, as you said in your comments, it's very technical. I'm seriously thinking of enrolling on to your miming course if things don't go well this time!

Hi, I finally decided to post this after building up my speed over the past few weeks. I have recently retired my Snowball microphone, so I'm making my first recording with a Harp Blaster HB52 microphone through a Focusrite Scarlett Solo audio interface.

Hi Liam, Ive gone back and practiced this again, building up from lower speeds to try and improve my rendition as you suggested. I feel a bit more comfortable playing than on my original submission!

Decided to attempt the Blues Harmonica for Intermediates after completing the Intermediate Course. Enjoying it so far, some new techniques to learn. Bit of a dilemma with the double stop, decided to tongue block in the end, as I seemed to have a bigger delay getting to the 4 draw half step bend /3 draw, playing it lip pursed.

Great presentation skills tonight Liam. I was hoping you might have played as well. Really enjoyed the event!

Had to revisit this one because my top lip kept on swelling up after been stung on it back in September. Looking forward to starting Month 12 next and see what that holds!
