The Match of the Day theme tune is one of the most recognisable pieces of music in British TV history. First aired in 1970, this upbeat, brassy melody has been the soundtrack to Saturday night football for decades. On the harmonica it’s a fun and bouncy tune that’s guaranteed to put a smile on people’s faces, and maybe even get them chanting along!
