Over the years, I’ve helped thousands of people around the world learn and enjoy the harmonica, from beginners picking it up for the first time, to advanced players looking to take their playing further. In 2013, I started LearnTheHarmonica as a way to bring that teaching online, and it’s grown into a global community of players all supporting each other and making real progress.
For me, it’s not just about teaching techniques; it’s about helping people feel confident, expressive, and genuinely enjoy playing music.
Alongside teaching, I’m also a touring musician. I play with a number of bands, including fronting my own electric blues group, The Liam Ward Band.
I’m proud to be an Official Hohner Artist, and I'm incredibly honoured to be the face of one of Hohner's legendary harmonicas: the Blues Harp.
