About

In The Positions & Modes for Harmonica Course you'll explore the most useful and interesting positions. Module 1 covers the basics, introducing the concepts of keys, scales and positions. We'll look at 1st position, learn a song and some simple scales too. Modules 2,3 and 4 cover 2nd, 3rd and 4th position, all using song studies to try out the different positions. Our final module, module 5, introduces 12th (first flat) position which is a really cool and expressive alternative to 1st position major key playing. We'll also consider further positions and modes for the future. You'll get: ✅ Step-by-step lessons in easy-to-follow chunks (using C harp) ✅ Downloadable and printable tab sheets ✅ Song studies to try each position and mode ✅ Practice exercises to help you learn to use modes in your playing ✅ Technical studies and practice exercises ✅ Post-Course Follow-On Practice Resources Open to all levels. NOTE: You'll need a C diatonic harmonica
