'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' was written for the 1944 musical Meet Me in St. Louis, in which it was performed by Judy Garland. Frank Sinatra later recorded a famous version with slightly altered lyrics. It has since been recorded by numerous artists and remains one of the most popular Christmas songs of all time.
