How to Warble on Harmonica & Easy Warble Licks - Beginner Blues Harmonica Lesson & Tab

Writer's picture: Liam WardLiam Ward

Hello! In today's harmonica lesson we're learning to play warbles and trying a blues solo using this new technique. A warble (or trill) is basically two notes played quickly and alternately. We'll be playing over a classic 12 bar blues shuffle backing track (I sell a full set of backing tracks in my store). You will need clean notes for this lesson, so make sure you know how to play single notes first. I hope you enjoy the lesson!

Here are the harp tabs for the blues licks in this lesson:

A (x2):

-4<-->-5--- 4 -3 -2

B (x2):

1 2 -2 -2

A:

-4<--->-5--- 4 -3 -2

C:

-5 -4 4 -4

4 3 -2 -2

D:

-2 -2 -2

-2 2 -1 -1

Thanks for studying with me today. I hope you enjoyed the lesson!
